A brow lift is performed under General or IV sedation by a board certified anesthesiologist, who is an MD or DO.
Using a coronal incision within the scalp from ear to ear, Dr. Peck Jr alters the muscles above the eyes to smooth lines and raise the eyebrows for a more youthful appearance. The procedure is often combined with other operations such as blepharoplasty and face lifts to improve the look of the eyes and other areas of the face.
The scar may prevent this procedure in a balding male. A woman with a large forehead may also not be a candidate.
